Paul McCartney has agreed to sign a contract with record label Mercury Records for the UK release of her album in concert, Good Evening New York.

The legendary former Beatle has long avoided the major labels after the end of his 40-year contract with Parlophone. He preferred to partner with more companies as independent One Little Indian.

Good Evening New York was recorded earlier this year at Citi Field in New York. This stage has replaced the Shea Stadium when the Beatles played in 1965.

Paul McCartney has said that three nights of performances were very special to him, reports Orange News. "It was three nights for musicians and for me personally, it was exciting to be back for opening a new stadium at the same location as the Shea Stadium where we played 44 years before. It was even more exciting, because this time you could hear us, "McCartney told.
