Paul McCartney Fireman

Who the heck is the Fireman, you ask?
Sir Paul McCartney is the mastermind behind this spectacular project. McCartney has often been quietly avante garde, despite the fact that John Lennon was pushing limits with the sound collage Revolution #9.
By all reports, McCartney was the driving force behind the orchestral sweeps of Day in the Life and the loop noise of Tomorrow Never Knows.
After decades of remaining largely mainstream, McCartney is finally re-embracing his daring side. This is a love-it or hate-it album. Fans of Yesterday and Blackbird will likely not connect with Electric Arguments, while fans of Tomorrow Never Knows and Happiness Is A Warm Gun will love it.
He is joined in the studio by a super producer known as Youth.
Formerly a founding member of Killing Joke, Youth has produced music by U2, INXS, Marilyn Manson, Crowded House and Depeche Mode. Youth's electronica grooves give a new edginess to Sir Paul's timeless music.
They previously explored sonic landscapes together on Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest (1993) and Rushes (1998).
Electric Arguments is pure genius on many levels. Nothing Too Much Just Out of Sight opens the album with dirty guitars and cool loop. Imagine Helter Skelter played by U2 and you get the idea.
McCartney is in fine form on this psychedelic rocker, snarling and growling with his guitar and vocals.
It sets the tone that this new album is clearly not the next Wings album.
